5. The promotion is only valid for separate rentals and not rentals with consecutive rental dates.
6. Rentals made using Avis contracted (corporate/government) rates/AWDs, chauffeur drive, or van rentals do not qualify for Flying Blue Miles. Travel industry staff rates including Flying Blue/AF/KLM and Avis employee programmes, replacement/insurance rates, selected association programmes, and net rate programmes do not qualify for Flying Blue Miles.
7. The Flying Blue Miles Accumulator bonus is not valid on Prestige rentals worldwide.
8. Valid for all participating rental locations worldwide.
9. Bonuses will be awarded on the following basis: " 2nd qualifying rental = 2000 bonus Flying Blue Miles " 3rd qualifying rental = 5000 bonus Flying Blue Miles " 4th qualifying rental = 7500 bonus Flying Blue Miles " 5th qualifying rental = 14000 bonus Flying Blue Miles " 6th qualifying rental = 20000 bonus Flying Blue Miles “.     Avis has been the exclusive car rental partner to British Airways since 1 April 2009. Avis services British Airways Executive Club Members, general passengers and British Airways staff.

    Avis has developed a new product to offer exclusively to British Airways Gold Executive Club Members renting at Heathrow Airport, Terminal 5. This new product allows customers to pick up their Avis car right outside the Arrivals Hall at T5 Airport and bypass the shuttle bus and the Avis rental station entirely. At the end of their rental they are also able to park their hire car in the "Priority" spaces outside T5.

    This customer is able to manage the check out of his rental independently (except if is first time renting as an Avis Preferred member, in which case an Avis agent will meet him at T5).


    Promotion / Benefit to customer:

    The customer can collect their rental car at the airport and bypass Avis Heathrow rental station. A considerable time-saving value-add for this consumer base made up exclusively of frequent travellers.

    Priority Service audience:

    British Airways Gold Executive Club Members, Gold Guest List members and Priority members.

    Validity period:
    • Valid on bookings made from 04/2010
    • Valid for BA Gold Executive Club Members who are enrolled on Avis Preferred and have opted to sign a Master Rental Agreement. They must have an existing "Priority" reservation with Avis Heathrow and be arriving at T5.

    • Once they have completed their rental, customers are fully responsible for returning their car to the Priority Rental parking spaces.
    • Customers are fully responsible for putting their ticket into the rental wallet and then placing this on the dashboard, locking the car, placing the keys in a "drop off" box and ensuring that both the inner door and outer door are closed securely. If the customer has problems doing any of these steps they must contact Avis Heathrow on 08445 443 101.
    • The vehicle remains the responsibility of the customer if these procedures are not followed.

    Key features of the pricing proposals
    Discounts are subject to availability and country dependent.
    Rates include unlimited mileage, collision damager waiver (excesses may apply), theft protection and local taxes/surcharges. Airport surcharges and local tax elements are not discounted. Rates do not include optional insurances, petrol and additional drivers, which will be charged at the rates applicable in the country of rental at the time of rental.
    Staff rates may not be used on discounted or promotional rates or in conjunction with any offer or promotion unless specified.
    All rates must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Retail rates have a minimum rental of 3 days.
    Blackout periods and a minimum stay may apply.
    Standard Avis age, driver and credit requirements apply.
    All rentals are subject to Avis' standard terms and conditions, which are detailed on the reverse of the rental agreement. Insurance policy details should be read at time of rental.
    WORLDHOTELS staff are required to make an advance reservation quoting their assigned AWD number.
    When collecting the vehicle WORLDHOTELS staff must present one form of identification that confirms name and job title, e.g., WORLDHOTELS staff pass or business card.
    Staff will also need a valid driver's licence and a major credit charge card.
    Additional fees and additional mandatory insurances may be charged where vehicles are taken out of that country or where rentals originate and terminate in different countries. Such additional fees will be charged at the rates applicable in the country of rental at the time of reservation.
